I look beyond the realm of reality by seeing through the lens of my camera, whether an SLR or the iPhone, to create another dimension.

This vision begins one way and ends in a completely different way.

As I start with complexity and move through the scene or parts of the scene, I look to achieve an opportunity for one to explore, to engage the viewer by sometimes isolating parts of the scene and evoke their feeling of being there and what I felt as I was shooting.

Realism becomes an impression using not only color, but Infrared.

Working with a SLR camera and now most recently with an iPhone, I have the flexibility of creating on the spot using the phone’s camera as my canvas.

The two images represented in the exhibit show these two sides of my photography.

Finding special places to capture a look and using infrared to further push the scene expands and challenges my creativity.
