Traveling the world is the realization of my lifelong dream. Nothing is more awesome than the experience of photographing the backwaters of the Arabian Sea on a houseboat, Mount Etna on Easter Sunday, or the landscapes of the Atlas Mountains while driving to the Sahara desert. I am forever changed by photographing the emerald green and purple hues of the Aurora Borealis, one of the seven wonders of the world, as it lights up the sky in Norway at the Arctic Circle. When I took this photograph, I was standing on the hillside next to a cliff, above the Arctic Ocean at 10 pm at night. In an instant, the captivating strobe in this photograph descended from the sky in a wave, oscillated, and returned to the sky.
