For the past two years our lives were transformed before our eyes. Who would have imagined that words such as quarantine, shutdown, masks, 6 feet apart, Corona virus, isolation, and a pandemic would be part of our vocabulary. Though I’ve traveled to all seven continents including the 50 states photographing wildlife and landscapes, the two images I am exhibiting in this show envision a brief if hopefully lasting respite from what we have been through. “Beach House” offers us a serene, bucolic view of Gardiners Bay in the Hampton Bays. And the multi exposure scene in “Jamaica Bay” depicts an illusion of fantasy with a cityscape in the background and at the same time nature in the foreground.
