Usually, I am working on at least six projects. Some like subway stations worldwide have been ongoing for decades. Current projects include subway stations, the five boroughs NYC, and small town America. Since I work over a period of time, equipment and my vision changes. Projects that began using film, are now shot digitally, allowing for compositing and large panoramas.

Five of my projects have ended up as books: four published by Viking Press and the fifth published by Little Brown. Other projects have appeared in Look, the New York Times Magazine, Esquire and Pageant.  Images from the five boroughs project are in New York City Historical Society collection. Images from small town America are in the Smithsonian Museum of American Art.
