Making photographs helps me capture a glimpse of the society and culture of New York where I live and make meaning out of the chaos. I love it all — the people, commercial and political messages, cultural cues, beauty, fashion, urban decay and waste, splendid architecture, flora and fauna. The serious and the absurd.
My work has a strong graphic sense. I’ve been described as being a “realist poet” who seeks to find the unexpected.
I love to travel and explore - near and far - and have been making pictures since high school.
