I have always believed that what you can't see well with your eyes, you see more clearly with your imagination. I took this image in a playground near the Hudson River in Peekskill, NY. The fog was heavy, the statue of the swimmer appeared as if in a dream. One can ask - where did this apparition come from? why is it here? and more importantly, what does all this mean to me? This is what a good photograph does: it makes you wonder, it makes you supply a back story that resonates deep inside of you, provoking an astonishing and meaningful response.
